Support for Refugee Children's Education

purpose

Since 2019, BCT has been committed to supporting the education of Burundian refugee children living in Rwanda, in partnership with the Forum for Vigilant Memory (FMV). Many of these children have been displaced due to serious human rights violations, and access to quality education remains one of the greatest challenges they face.

Our educational support initiative aims to restore hope, build capacity, and invest in the future of this population by ensuring that vulnerable children and youth can attend school.

Impact

Success story

An inspiring example is Ngoga, an 18-year-old boy who has succeeded remarkably. Thanks to BCT’s support, he completed lower secondary school with excellent grades and is now funded by an American school based in Rwanda.

He aspires to become a humanitarian to do good and give back to others in gratitude for the support he received from BCT.
